We should be grateful that Jews rejected Uganda
We in Uganda should at least have something to celebrate about. This is because we came so close to the ordeal that the Palestinians are going through. In 1903, The British Colonial Office set up a commission to look into the possibility that Uganda could be the site of the Jewish State.
However, on August 19, 1903, delegates to the sixth Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, clashed over the proposal. Theodor Herzel, the founder of the Zionist movement, said that he considered Palestine the best place for a Jewish State. He, however, said that he was prepared to consider the option of Uganda as a haven for persecuted Jews.
It soon became clear that most Jews were not in favour of Uganda. Delegates from Russia, especially from Kashinev, who at the time were faced with violent persecution, said that they would not accept going anywhere other than Palestine - the ancient home of the Jews.
Somehow, during the late 1960s and early 1970s, after Israel's bitter wars with the Arab world, Tel Aviv realised that Uganda had actually been a viable and strategic place from which to fight Egypt.
In fact one member of the Knesset [Israeli Parliament] was later to remark thus: "We could have ignored all the Nile Water treaties by diverting the water for more commercial and development uses in the East and Central Africa regions. |

The British did to the middle east what they did to most of Africa. They carved it up into illogical states. We'll see the results of their careless arrogance for many years to come. But thank the ancestors Israel is not in Africa! |

Yes, thank the ancestors Israel is not in Africa....but also thank the ancestors that Israel is in Israel.
Otherwise, the Arabs would be wreaking even more destruction, slavery and evil in Africa than they already are.
I'm glad Israel keeps them occupied with a constant CRISIS, and I hope that the Arab world will someday crumble into complete ruin.

Kola,
Arab anger will continue to overflow because they are so dogmatic, freedom-hating, and mysoginistic (sp). And I too am glad there is some non-black target for them to focus some of their misdirected energies. They'll have to change or somehow change the world. The former seems more likely. |

Don't forget that Israel is a settler colonial state just like Mozambique, Angola, Rhodesia or apartheid South Africa were before liberation. They slaughter arabs just like the Boers who slaughtered Africans in Southern Africa. |

You may be right....you may be wrong but are you implying that Africans should be concerned about what Israelis are doing to Arabs simply because it's been to us? I have absolutely no sympathy for Arabs and I don't miss a beat when I hear about casualties amongst them. |

Sudanese "Arabs" are not Arab. They are Black Africans with a dash of Arab in them, from their fathers, and naturally they imagine that they are Arabs because they speak the language and are Muslims. The same with the Mauritanian "Moors"--Black Africans, maybe slightly lighter, but they are definitely NOT what they think they are. Aside from that, Libyans are fascist scum, and Egyptians are so color-struck their society is a JOKE. The same with Algerians and Tunisians.

I don't like most Arabs, but still, Israel totally disgusts me. And I can't stand how they treat Palestinians. I hate it. There are photos of Arab babies shot through the head. As nasty as some Arabs are, I can't agree with that shit. And furthermore, Israel runs the fucking U.S. congress, and Israelis are even MORE racist than the most racist Arabs. Look at how they treat Ethiopian Jews, for example. |
