I couldn't believe this one. Monique stood her ground up to Barbara but this doesn't look good. There's even a petition against The View.

Posted July 27, 2006 -- “Wait a minute Barbara; they’re not creatures sugar. Don’t call my children creatures.”
At that moment, you could see that comedienne Mo’Nique guest-hosting Monday on ABC’s popular and somewhat controversial daytime talk show “The View,” was no longer in a laughing mood.
The comment from “View” co-owner and esteemed journalist Barbara Walters was one of several comments that finally led to Mo’Nique jokingly threatening to smack co-host Joy Behar.
The trouble began when Walters asked Mo’Nique if it was true that she didn’t shave her legs. Without missing a beat, the comedienne jumped up to show the audience her unshaven legs. When Mo’Nique told her that her hair does show beneath her pantyhose, Behar quipped “that’s attractive.”
Later in the show, Walters referred to Mo’Nique’s twin babies as “creatures,” a comment that clearly rubbed Mo’Nique the wrong way.
But the gauntlet was truly thrown down when, after Mo’Nique joked about smacking Behar that Walter’s reminded the comedienne, “Just remember, you come and go, but we stay,” as she reached over Mo’Nique to high-five Behar.
Clearly hurt, Mo’Nique’s cheerful façade came down when she point-blank asked Walters, “Now Barbara, how you gonna team up on me like that?”
Ironically, Mo’Nique is set to return to the show on Friday for another round of guest-hosting.

What DUMB BITCH would call another woman's children "creatures" while in her presence anyways?
She would have been within all rights to slap the snot out of her RIGHT THEN.
