I manage an apartment building in a middle class neighborhood in L.A. There are blacks, whites, a family from Egypt, a woman from Romania, and a young teacher from Mexico.
Everyone for the most part is respectful and courteous-except a couple of the white women.
They trash the place and ignore whatever I tell them. They totally act as if I have not place to tell them what to do.
It's probably a generalization but I wonder if anyone else has been in the position of "managing" white people and what has been the response?
Just curious. |

If I were you I'd evict them. That would teach them a very valuable lesson and relieve you of the problems of dealing with them. |

Wish I could. Only they pay rent and I really have no reason to kick them out...other than they are "Miss Anne" bitches. |

It seems to me if they're truly TRASHING the joint (especially if they're loud and bothering other occupants), you'd have sufficient grounds to kick their a$$e$ out.

Because you shared that it's in a middle class neighborhood, and depending on the age of the women, chances are they've never been taught how to value or respect something that isn't their own. And though they pay the rent (as you shared), their behavior leads me to believe that their "mommy and/or daddy" are footing the bill -and will suck up that deposit money, too--if they were to be evicted for damage to the unit. It may take awhile, but I'd work to evict them. That's bullshyt to have to deal with on a regular basis.

There is a wierd dynamic going on in LA, too. White folks are becoming rarer, and probably feeling 'really special' these days. Okay, you guys are saying 'so, what else it new', but . . . Robynmarie I feel you. They aren't employees, so the only control you have is eviction. Too bad you can't impose sanctions like they do in the UN.
