Hmmm. This is lot like what women - of all races but especially black women - are made to endure. Women must smile and act "ladylike" in order to survive and thrive, as well. Even when they know they are being spat on and taken advantage of, they feel a tremendous amount of pressure to "act like a lady" and just smile. It's good to see that black men are starting to open up, though. Maybe now they'll know that (black) women understand them much more than they think.
