there are a lot of funny entertainers/comedians out there, but i have to say the one who i think is the funniest and makes me laugh the most is mike epps. something about his comic sense is just too funny. there is rarely a time when i see him on screen that i can't not laugh. he is just naturally funny. sure alot of the humor is "foolish",(most of jim carrey's humor is foolish too) but its dam sure funny. i think he is going to surprise alot of people in his role as richard pryor,in the life story of richard pryor. mike epps is just flat out funny. anyone else have any favorite entertainers (hey for disscussion purposes black, white or whatever) that just make them "die" from laughter? mine is mike epps. everything we talk about on this board doesn't have to be SO serious, does it? |

Chris, all that you need to do is to get up and go walk around the block a couple of times each evening and pass on that sixth burrito and you won't be so heavy. |

It's impossible to say who is the funniest. I have a few favorites.
Richard Pryor has had me literally rolling on the floor. Back in the olden days when we listened to him on the stereo, he was hilarious. I don't remember what he was talking about, but I never laughed so hard in my life - even since then and it's been about thirty years ago.
Chris Rock is funny more because of the way that he delivers his punch lines than the content of his jokes. His material is based on reality so that always cracks me up.
Redd Foxx is funny when he acts like he's going to have a heart attack and when he insults Aunt Esther. And he's always plotting and scheming against LaMont trying to get his way. I could see him doing that same stuff a thousand times - he is always funny.
Bernie Mac because of the way he calls everything a MF and those crazy expressions on his face. He is one of my favorites because he tells it like it is.
Chappelle's whacked out sense of humor makes him one of the best. He's been at it for some time and he is a professional at what he does. I think he writes quite a bit of his own material, so that makes him better than most.
Television shows I watch when I need a good laugh - The Munsters and Beverly Hillbillies because those ppl are too stupid. I have a weird sense of humor so there's no telling what could be funny to me. I'll start laughing during a horror flick if the scene looks phoney or the acting is bad.
This board is great for laughs too. ABM, Chris, Rustang and some of the others would make excellent stand-up comedians. Their barbs, wise cracks and putdowns are real treasures. I'm serious - some of you all have me rolling. |

I seriously haven't watched enough television to get a good sense of many of those comedians, no matter how famous they are. But two stick out to me:
Bernie Mac. I adore him for reasons other than his comedy, and I don't even know why. I just love him. I'm not especially attracted to him (maybe due to his age and height), but I still find him beautiful.
Chris Tucker. That voice alone is HILARIOUS. I have "The 5th Element" on video and he's just funny. He screams like a girl and his voice is half his act. |

chris tuckers in "the 5th element" is one strangest(in a good way), and most classic performances i have ever seen. very, very, unusual and very, very, funny. the "5th element was made by luc besson, a french director. sometimes i think europeans have the courage to make films that are actually daring and different. "the 5th element" is DEFINATELY one of those films. american films (not all) are mostly repetative and unoriginal. |

OMG - The Fifth Element is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love the part where the Diva Plava Laguna sings that opera thing that turns into a funky beat and then she starts to dance. And Chris T. is funny as hell in those crazy cross-dress costumes and hair-dos, especially when he does that shoo-fly thing. I love that movie! |
