I would like to ask Black Americans (and especially black men)---how long is the bullshit hypocracy going to continue?
When are black men going to realize that THEY are doing more to destroy our race than anyone else?

I hate how 12 year old black boys on my bus mock dark black skinned girls, they just laugh and laugh, and when I ask them what is wrong with black skin, they look away...
I hate how the darkest people on my bus compare their skins to see who is darker ( You are darker-Oh no I'm defiantly lighter than you). I hate how they ask for a third party opinon.
I hate how the blackest girls have inferiority complexes. Now it is true that few black women have natural hair, but I have never, never in my life seen a black skinned woman with nappy hair. It's like their apologizing for their blackness by perming. They can't be black AND nappy headed.
I hate how 85% of american black women chemically straighten their hair. I hate the weaves. I hate the dye. I hate the stares I get for daring to wear free form dreadlocks. I'm in high school so there are no natural black girls (maybe like a handful).
I hate most of all how everyone accepts the trash the white man teaches them.
I hate how this girl i know who is midnight black and thinks she is ugly, when in fact she the most beautiful person I have ever seen. She is gorgeous. And she doesn't even know it, thinking she is undesirable. I hate this society. And I'll be damned if I don't fight tooth and nail to bring it down. How dare they mock her. How dare they degrade her. Next time I see her, I'll tell her the truth.
I want to go to Africa.
I hate the portrayal of Africa. All the media ever show is AIDS, poverty, AIDS, diease.They are saying, Oh look at how backwards and stupid the blacks are, can't even feed their own people. Whenever laypeople mention hungry children they say "Oh, well in Africa people are starving". Bitch, people are starving eveywhere. Babies are starving in your backyard. Don't feed me that trash. Show me my people how they truly are you dogs. It is all negative . Everyone thinks the whole continent is full of pestilence and death and those dirty, stupid blacks. I'm so fed up.
God help the first person to mock Africa in front of me.

Wow..all this from just a mere little girl that rides the bus with 12 year olds. Using words like pestilence no doubt. I'm impressed that she has such a calibre of writing skills for such a young age if she did indeed write it and not some one older. |
