WHEN strangers stop to admire Kylee Hodgson’s twins, they do more than a double take. For the little girls don’t even look like sisters - let alone twins. Despite being conceived together in their mother’s womb and being born within a minute of each other, Kian Hodgson’s skin is black - yet her sister Remee is white.

A mixed-race British mom gave birth to twins recently - one of each.

No, not a boy and a girl. Two girls - one black, the other white.

The odds of such a birth are about a million to one, experts said.

"It was a shock when I realized that my twins were two different colors," Kylie Hodgson, 19,

told London's Daily Mail. "But it doesn't matter to us - they are just our two gorgeous little girls."

Hodgson and her partner, Remi Horder, 17, were both born to mixed-race parents.

Little Kian and Remee share a love of apples and the Teletubbies, their proud mom says.

Fertility experts speculate that a sperm containing all-white genes fused with an egg with all-white genes, and a sperm with all-black genes fused with an all-black gene egg to produce the fraternal twins.

Here are pictures of the twins with their parents

and for those who don't believe anything in the Bible....this farther proves that a lot of the stuff in the Bible that was once doubted is actually possible.

Most people doubt till this day think it's impossible for 2 babies of 2 different "races" (or what we label races) to come from the same womb. I feel that this has always been possible (as the Bible itself tells us), especially for black women since we were the first and originally had the genes to produce all "races."

Even if you look at colors in terms of black, green, yellow, red, etc., the color black alone contains all colors. So, this shouldn't be so shocking to believe.

I don't know of twins like this....but what's common in the south (if you know enough people) is to meet white women married to Indian men.....who have children that are DARKER than a lot of African Americans.

They are cute!

I apologize if this comes across as racist, because I truly don't mean to seem so, but I've always wanted a daughter, but a brown or darker skinned one with thick hair.

The cute brown baby looks like a dark mixed race baby to me. She reminds me of what Halle Berry looked like as a infant/toddler.

It's a classic case of atavism. It's really not that unusual except that in this instance, it presented itself in one of the twins and not the other.

I agree,

if a "pure" african woman can produce a white baby from a pure african man then why wouldn't a "mixed" woman be able to produce the same thing???

as i said before it happened in the Bible and it's still happening with certain secluded tribes in africa.

the only time i heard of this happening before was when a woman had sex with 2 different men (one white/one black) and one egg was fertilized by each. This case is really odd.
