Ladies' Night Out
by Electa Rome Parks
January 2, 2007
(pre-order your copy on Amazon.com today!)

Readers are cordially invited, the second Saturday of the month, to Ladies' Night Out. No R.S.V.P is required---just leave your inhibitions at the door. What happens during Ladies' Night Out, stays with us. Shhh, we won't tell!

Meet Lexie, Meshell, Tonya and Tracee. . . four professional, highly successful, intelligent, sexy and totally fierce black women who just happen to be the best of friends. Each month, they drop all commitments to the wind to celebrate the ties and bonds of friendship with a Ladies' Night Out, where anything and everything can happen, and usually does.

At one such event, a question is posed: What's the freakiest thing you've ever done? As the question is pondered and answered by each, one sisterfriend sets out on a journey to rectify her situation and readers are swept up in one heck of a ride. As readers follow the Crew on their sexcapades, drama, drama and more drama awaits at each and every turn. Hold on tight, don't lose your grip. You never know what's around the next turn.

Readers soon discover that we all wear masks. Another question is posed: Do you really know your best friends as well as you think you do?You could never imagine what goes on behind closed doors. Beware: Enter at your own risk!

Well Hello Electa

Long time no hear from. I see you are still doing your thang. I remember when you were a struggling scared writer just trying to get your feet wet and look at you now. I have managed to hold onto the copy of your first book that I begged out of you.

So things are going well for you huh? It's nice that you still drop by to holler at us poor ol'fools.....I mean folk. ahhh......tell me, how can a brother with broke down money get his hands on one of dem der books of yours. My train ain't comes in yet and theres a few clouds on the horizon but maybe one day we will meeet for a cup of coffee, I have a dream that one day I'll have peace, serenity and a new "bank"....account that is.

Be good

Hi Carey!
You appear to be in an unbelievale quagmire, but remember the darkest hours are just before the dawn. In our eleven plus year cyber relationship it was my impression that you were a reputable, stable member of your community. It has not been for naught, your community will stand by and support you and I certaintly wish you well and a favorable resouution to the issues that you face.
Keep the faith!

Hi Carey,

I hope all is well. . .

Of course I remember you; I could never forget you!

Yeah, I'm still writing and living out my dream. . . And even with book four, Ladies' Night Out about to drop, I'm still that scared writer. Each book is like the first for me and you never know how the reading public will react or receive it. So, I stay humble and blessed!

I see you still have that wacky sense of humor (LOL). Of course I can't refuse one of my first reviewers a complimentary copy of my new release. Drop me a line at novelideal@aol.com and include your address. I'll hook you up!

I have to read your posts and catch up.

Best,

Electa

Oh, Carey. . . I just remembered how you thought I was a man and you thought my first name was Electra and I had to set you straight (LOL).

Hello Sese

Thanks for the kind words. Dang, has it been that long? Sese, I know I am a blessed man. I've lived the American Dream. I truely believe that if not for the grace of God I wouldn't be here today relatively free of "pain". I say pain because we, you and I know life can and is frequently full of distressful events. If I didn't truely believe and have faith that this most recent event will pass.......good or bad....and that I will still be standing, free of pain, I'd might as well lay it down. Thanks again. I could always count on you to say just the right thang.

Carey
