As one who lives in Ohio and was an observer from 8:30 am until 11:30 pm in Election Year 2004, it was mindboggling to watch this up close and feel helpless as folks who in some cases were voting for the first time, had difficulty with something that should have been so simple. My biggest fear is that those same folks wont go to the polls ever again based on this experience.

The whole thing was disgusting and an exhibition of the true state of our so called Democracy. It was not meant to be simple so their votes could be pitched.

Hey Chris, Glad I've gotten in your good graces. I write a dozen articles per week in addition to a radio show, so I don't have a lot of time to savor the one book a week I coose to review. But I do my best, and move on.

Kam:

You don't need to be in my good graces, just call 'em as you see 'em with style knowledge and verve--like you did with this one.
