"Jeff Rivera's writing moves the reader compellingly forward through the twisted and emotional lives of his characters "Forever My Lady" so compassionately portrays. The characters and story grasps the reader from the first page to the last. This story is worthy of a film or stage adaptation which will allow the characters the opportunity to live the passions Mr. Rivera so richly reveals on the pages of this debut novel. "Forever My Lady" is not only a first-rate novel, it's first-rate theater."

FOREVER MY LADY tells a strong, edgy, provocative story. Dio’s growth from gang member to maturing and compassionate young man is fascinating, and his eventual grace under extreme pressure is hard – and honestly -- earned. As tough and gritty as its setting, Dio’s story engages the emotions as he learns the true meaning of manhood, and of love.

India Edghill – Author of “Wisdom’s Daughter” and “Queenmaker”

“Very Powerful”
Randy Powell – Author of “Run if You Dare

~ About Jeff Rivera ~
In 1997, a miracle happened to author Jeff Rivera that would turn his life around 180 degrees. After living in his car for months with his family, he managed to get on his feet and begin working at a department store. That is when he met a young man that would change his life forever. The young man shared with Jeff slices of his life as a gang member on the streets of LA. He began to tell Jeff a story of love, and of loss, of passion and of heartbreak. He told him of how the love of one girl, he called his "lady", had inspired him to become a new man. Listening as he shared the private letters and poems he had written to her, the story captured Jeff's heart and soul and never let it go. It motivated author Jeff Rivera to write a story that would inspire others, as this young man's story had, that anything is possible with the power of love. 7 years it has taken for this story to come to life. Now this novel is finally available to the world.
