Basically the server ran out of space effectively locking everyone out -- includinging myself.
This problem has been corrected.
Thanks to everyone who sent me email notifying me of the problem. I would have corrected the problem sooner but I did not read email yesterday (Friday).

Hey Chris,
You were not the only one conjuring conspiracy theories. Rest assured the failure was not hostile, simply configurable software constraints.
As you probably know this is the first time we've had problems with this discussion board in a few years. All web sites have problems occassionaly our record has been pretty good over the years.

The most recent "file locking" problem had to do with the number of files on this domain. In addition to the size of this domain, we are limitted by the number of files we can have. The number of files we can have has been increased, but I'll need to figure out a long term solution to address this problem.
Stuff like this is one of the reasons I can't enjoy the discussions board as often as I would like.
