On TVOne they have a show called "Unsung" which discusses the personal life and career of entertainers. I caught Phyllis Hyman's story.

She died in '95, (committied suicide), for years she suffered from depression. I always wanted to know what exactly it was that made her so depressed. The bios I read online never give details. And the "Unsung" episode about her life still didn't answer many of my questions.

She has a biography, and from the reviews on online, it really goes into detail about her life and what things triggered her depression.

Just wondering if anyone read it?
