A photograph showing a copy of Get A Grip On Physics by John Gribbin on the floor of Tiger Woods's wrecked SUV has seen the book rocket up Amazon's bestseller chart. Get you book into the hands of a celebrity and if by sheer folly something like this happens and the cops photograph your book...never mind. What is nintersting is that you never know what people are reading. Tiger Woods was reading a Physics book, who knew. The random nature of stuff like this always cracks me up. LOL! This is a wonderful idea for a book club! I foresee hustin authors, publicists and such rushing to "plant" their books at celebrity crime scenes. But it doesn't have to be just bad stuff happening to work. I was one of many who bought and read a book just by virtue of seeing a photo of BHO with the book. |
