Hello All, Yvette: You know the sista-girlfriend books are the books where there are at least 3 up to 4 black women friends, who hang out together, and have the various jobs, with the various man trouble, and have no family inside the books other than their friends. One is always the loud mouth ghetto type, one is always the princess, the other is Tornleisha who works her way from the projects to become VP or President of Human Resources and when the book opens she is always getting out or just got out of a bad relationship until she falls for the one guy who speaks to her in the elevator with the perfect teeth and mocha chocolate skin who the playa but she's not going to be another notch on his bed post but eventually they end up on a date and she ends up falling in love with him and everything is going smoothly until his ex wife/girlfriend or daughter enters the picture and they have a beef with Tornleisha but Tornleisha and her man make a go of it anyway once he swears his undying love and loyalty to her until a situation with misplaced panties or a kiss or a car accidents breaks them up but its only temporary because Tornleisha despite going through the motions of forgetting her man she can't and then they bump into each other in an elevator, or a club or Tornleisha slips on a pile of dog piss on the sidewalk and before you know it Tornleisha and her man are in each other's arms once again pledging undying love for one another and then they get married with Tornleisha's other three low rent friends/sistas all there to witness the happy union. The end. You know, those books. | ||
