Hey Writers, I need a little help. Can you recommend some up-to-date books on writing query letters for novels and non-fiction? Please post the titles here on send them to me on Twitter at www.twitter.com/ercarpenter. I surely appreciate it. -Emanuel |

A whole BOOK on queries? By the time you got it read and digested your book will be out of date. Just go to the Writers Guide or a website, get some examples (four or five) and work from there. |

Hey Emmanuel, I don't have any books to offer, but there are two or more blog sites that really are good. Here is one of my favorites: http://queryshark.blogspot.com/ and this one too http://jetreidliterary.blogspot.com/2009/10/notes-from-effective-query-class-at. html Both are agents, but they give quite a bit of instruction on query letters and publishing. |
