Heyyyy! Just wanted to give you a quick update: I'm still working on my novel "Love Comes Apart." Just went through a professional edit and will be implementing some changes. Then I'll be submitting to publishers and editors no later than January. If you liked "Where is the Love?" you will love this new book. I will be reviewing for AALBC.com again very soon. Well Well Well, look at our little Emanuel, he all grown up :-). Of course that's a joke but you've been on this board many years and you're like the quiet kid of the family. Well, last year (I think many will remember) you got drunk on us. You came up in here playing your music real loud. You took many of the old timer down memory lane. I am still having a few dranky dranks now and then and listening to my old school jams too. Just trying to keep away from posting while buzzed. Right now I'm trying to implement all the things I just learned about marketing myself through social media (Twitter, video blogging, Facebook, etc.) from a book I read called "Crush It." ??? Good grief, Carey. Emanuel makes regular appearances here and in his capacity as a grown man, gives out pointers on self-publishing. Me and FK and Chrishayden just had a long discussion with him about the narrative voice of a novel. You and your condescending attempts at humor have again failed to make me chuckle. | ||

Damn, why oh why do you have to bring that negative flavor? Look 14,213 minus 730 = 13,480 Emanuel has been coming here longer than most and he seldom loses his focus (730 posts). Most remember the time he posted while he was buzzed. Yes, it was a joke and I am sure he knew that. So tell me,Cynique, what's wrong with a man telling another man that he is proud of him? I suppose you just have to do you? Is that what it is. Why do you feel a need to get in my Kool-aid, and spoil a moment of "Congradulations". Why do you continue to take liberties, incorrectly characterizing people within the context of a distorted time frame, talking down to them in the process, all in an attempt to be funny??? You act as though you are surprised at Emanuel's glowing update, Carey. I wasn't because I keep up with him and am aware that he has "chops" and I already knew he was working on a book he had great plans and hopes for because he told us in a recent post. I don't look upon him as some "prodigal son" who has come home to the board after being off on a binge for a while. That's the false scenario you created, trying to get a laugh. | ||
