President Jacob Zuma was sworn in as the fourth post-apartheid president of South Africa this Saturday. But his appointment has raised questions about gender equality in the country. Zuma, a Zulu, has three wives and 19 children. His party, however, the ruling African National Congress, has made gender equality a top priority and one third of Zuma's cabinet are women.
