Sorry, Emanuel. On a scale of 1 to 10. I only give your final cut a 7. I will take into consideration that this was a personal statement on your part, but it's like you went out of your way to give props to lesser known songs for no other reason than that they are lesser known. Why you would take "Tonight I Give Into The Music" by Angela Bofill instead of "I Try" by her, I don't know...

Is "F*** The Police" a slow jam? You are always out in left field somewhere, Chrishayden.

LOL! That NWA album was my jam but you know I'm only looking for the slow jams.

I forgot to include

SOS BAND
Tell Me If You Still Care

and

Alexander O'Neal
If You Were Here Tonight.

I guess I didn't include any Michael Jackson after all. His slow jams were kinda like first date romance stuff not really slow grinding stuff.

Cynique: I'd love to read what your slow jam CD would look like.

A woman: Two lines that stand out for me are:

If you wanna know how long our love will last/this universe will pass baby yes it will (Let's Get Closer)

AND

Have you ever been kissed from head to toe/down your back around to your navel (Say Yes)

Now that's what I'm talkin' bout.

Emanuel,

YES! Love those E!

Debarge: I tell you I love you, but you don't believe it's true more precious than silver more precious than diamond rings or anything that I can give you... LOL!

Hey E, you could always do slow jams II. And I might steal somma those titles for my next book! HA!

Well, Emanuel, compiling "the best of" lists is not a territory I venture into. I have acknowledged that you are entitled to indulge your personal preferences and all I would further add is that I would not list 2 similar songs by one artist or group as you did and then omit other artists who are noted for their slow jams. No Aretha? No Lionel Richie?

"International Lover" by Prince instead of "Do Me"? "Come Go with Me" by Teddy Pendergrast instead of "Turn out The lights?" No way.

I don't think you stretched out enough but - no accounting for taste, is there?

(It's a tough, dirty thankless job.

But somebody gotta do it.

Wasn't "Casanova" by Levert a slow jam?
How about "Jigalos get lonely too" by the Time?)
