Poor Kola. At least Mrs. Hart finally admits in this blog that she (HE) just gotta read your new book:

I actually saw this one on t.v. Kola--at least the U.S. Media is being kinder to you:

I know, I know. I emailed you this stuff, but thought the board might want to peek too.

This is hilarious!

Iman and Kola Boof are allegedly the same person according to this spoof:

--"Name: Iman (a.k.a. Kola Boof)
Illegal From: Somalia
Method: Kola lured a UNICEF worker, Iman Figowitz, out into the ocean in a rowboat and beat her senseless with an oar. Kola then stole the woman's clothes, passport, and identity."--

Yeah, that goof up just ruins the whole joke for me.

And about Mrs.Hart: It's always the phonies that try to call out the BS on the Honest people.

Hey Roxie.

Kola's book is literature. Not a "tell all" by a bimbo.

And it's really good. Beyond good.

It's not about Osama Bin Laden, which is why she fought to keep him off the cover.

The book is more about this Black American family adopting this little African girl whose parents were killed in front of her and then it's about that child's struggle with mental health and how she became a novelist, activist and spy.

I loved Kola's Auntie Ramah in Sudan who was a witch and a lesbian and Kola's American father and her Nana.

I can see why they want to make this a movie. It's really a powerful story and Kola of course can write her ass.

Pretty,

"At least Mrs. Hart finally admits in this blog that she (HE) just gotta read your new book."

What am I missing? Where does she (he) admit that?

...Trust me, I wanna believe, I wanna believe.

You didnt' read the whole thing down to the bottom?

His last words were:

OK. Call me a sucker. I'm in.

It was funny, because he says all that negative crap and then says---"Can't help reading Diary of a Lost Girl".

Read it again, Tonya.

Pretty,

I went back on amazon and ordered the book. I called a representative afterward they said the book should arrive between late february and early march, which corroborates with the site's info. If it doesn't arrive by the latter part, I got the number nearby, and a speech prepared.;)

Thank god they won't charge me until the book actually ships. ^^'

Hi Roxie, thanks!

And also thanks for the web site on Oromo in Washington, D.C. I knew nothing about that.

PRETTYBABYGIRL----thank you for all the "dap". :-)

I appreciate all the emails from everyone.

I can't wait until I have time to post some new threads that aren't about me, but for now, I'm totally wrapped up in selling my new novel and promoting "Diary".

Jacqui, I'm so glad it came!

They should start coming faster after this Thursday when the 2nd Printing arrives.

Please post a review of it on AMAZON.COM when you're done reading it.
