Mahogany. God bless your mother. I wish her all the best,and pray that God navigates you in how to deal with the process. It won't be easy, but you will come out stronger. Again, I pray God blesses your mother. ____ Hope I didn't jump the gun on announcing this about Nicholas---but he was REALLY impressed with the first chapters of "The Sexy Part of the Bible" and he loved "Flesh and the Devil" and we had a nice long, very easy going phone conversation--chatting as though we've known each other for years---and his youth, hunger and success rate with his other clients, especially Cora Daniels (whose book I loved) make me have a lot of faith in him. If we can agree on a "final" REP Contract tomorrow---then it's done. But I am VERY excited and really think he's just what my career needs. Big Break: Also just found out that a SUPER MAJOR newspaper is going to review "Flesh"----because of a very famous American writer who wrote a letter on my behalf. Of course, it will take about 3 months to be published--but a major book review just as I'm arriving in New York City would be the exact Credential that I need. Stay tuned. Again--will be praying for your mom. |
