Well, ABM. It DOES matter what color JESUS is if you want MY children to raise his image above their own and to worship him and kiss his feet.

IN GREECE...the Southern parts....when the people line up after church to kiss the Virgin Mary's feet....her feet are STILL "black".

As a consequence, a black woman traveling in Southern Greece will find herself ASTONISHED at the affection and praise the people have for her....for seemingly no reason at all. The idolization.

This is why.....the GREEKS have recently began fighting to change the Virgin to an OLIVE coloring.

But the old people, because of TRADITION, want her to remain black.

Yes, it matters, regardless of whether these figures are real or not.

I want MY SONS to be surrounded by images of their own greatness and beauty---and to be shown images of THEIR BLACKNESS coming to the rescue and assistance of other races, who in my artwork are portrayed as Less Fortunate and Needy.
