I think Danzy Senna is a "fantastically gifted" writer and she superbly demonstrates the anxieties of being white-skinned with "black blood" and still not being able to escape the insanities of White Supremacist Culture----in a similar fashion that our Kathleen Cross does--only Danzy writes about it in her books from a more provincial standpoint; which is as she should.  I hope people will support her and go see her speak about her work. I'm certain it will be an eye opener. I haven't read her new book---but I quite enjoyed her first one.
