Yeah Cynique, we need college scholarships and we need more and better books, technology, and basic facilites in our communities. Politics is so difficult, since we're not able to get the resources. This world is so irrational, really. The only way black americans can do well is if the US is finacially stable. In order for the US to be financially stable, it must continue to exploit Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East. In other words, as Americans, some black people can prosper, but as african americans, i make a difference between black americans and african americans, we are placed within a conumdrum, since our identity, at least mine, encompasses more than the african american nationality, expanding to the continent of Africa and the Diaspora, including, sorry Kola, puerto ricans, dominicans, venezulans, etc...I know Cubans that are more "black" ideologoicall than africans and african americans, but that is another conversation (i don't want Troy to get mad..lol). Yet, if we go to Miami, whoa, those cubans are different from NYC cubans...but i don't want to place all cubans nor any group into a box, so let me leave it alone.
