In theory, I agree. But, I am also starting to think that some times the supply can create a demand. I think this is the crux of advertising. If someone constantly tells you that need this product or service, then you may begin to think, hmm, maybe I do. The same with availablity. If that is all you see, then you're more apt to give it a try, though it's not really what you want or need.

Again agree, and I don't think the reviewer suggested that this genre disappear -- just that writing, storyline, character development, etc., be good or better. But, this should be the case, regardless of the genre.
