Hi Everyone: My name is Glenda, but my four grandbabies know me as "GG" short for Grandma Glenda. I live in Baltimore,Maryland. It is currently 15 degrees and we are in the middle of a huge snow storm (about 2 feet of snow). I simply love,love,love to read. I will read books, magazines, journals; basically anything with the written word. I just graduated in January (with honors!!!!

with my undergrad degree in Health Care Management. I've worked in the field for years (don't want to give away my real age) and after raising two Black Men and putting them through school, I decided to return to get my piece of paper as well. I love this website for both the comments on books that I have read and for the introductions of the new books that everyone else is reading. It is a joy to see that so many Black Folks are reading and enjoying it. I am currently reading and liking Raising Fences, had it for over a year, but those school books came first. Hope everyone is having a great day and I look forward to writing in from time to time. Peace!
