Hey Bayou and Yukio...thanks for introducing yourselves. It's great to "know ya"... Bayou, thanks for your comments on membership to RAWSISTAZ. It's something I hope that people find with just the right amount of rules to make it comfortable. It's possibly my mind frame, but I have worked hard setting things up in my groups to have people come in, steal the ideas and use them as their own...that's hard on a sista that spends at least 10-15 hrs a day working on RAWSISTAZ related stuff. So, the major issue that a lot of people have with the group is that I unsubscribe new members if I don't hear from them within a month. Personally, I think it's reasonable, but I do realize folks aren't going to be as committed as I am to my own group. But to answer your question, we do have message boards also (like these) that you can post freely on. I just feel that if you join a book club that you should want to participate in our discussions and read the books of the month, but you'd be surprised. We did launch a RAW-2 group that will probably be less formal. I haven't had much time to focus on it, but if you're interested...I could send you more info...as well as the info for our message boards. (My site is currently down for a face-lift and will relaunch later this month.) Thanks for the feedback though...I appreciate it. -Tee |
