I might add that Kam Williams is the one who is naive. Anybody who thinks politics is about idealism instead of pragmatism is living in a dream world. I always got the impression that Kam is one of those fair-skinned brothers who has a need to bend over backwards to prove how black and radical he is.
Needless to say that Cornel West, in all of his wisdom, does bring broad perspective to the issues.
