I introduced myself to Terry Mcmillian (http://aalbc.com/authors/terry.htm ) yesterday. Sure, I've attended a bunch of events where she was present, but this was the first time I ever spoke to her. I told her about AALBC.com and she was like; “Hey are you the one with one of those, those… “Discussion Boards”, I volunteered. “Yes!” She replied. She then asked the classic question, I’ve been asked scores of times before: “You are not Thumper, are you?” I told her I was not, she then told me how she printed out some stuff from the boards and wanted to post her comments. I did not probe into why she did not do so. If would have been interesting ‘cause Terry is definitely not one for biting her tongue. It is the ones who don’t bite their tongues AND actually know something that make the most interesting posters. |
