Program Title: URBAN FICTION, THE CONTROVERSY CONTINUES
Program Description: It’s real. It’s hip-hop. It’s raw. But is it literature? Authors and professors discuss issues surrounding the resurgence of urban fiction. Adults only – ages 18 and up.

Authors participating include: Andrea Blackstone; Azarel; Roy Glenn; Dwayne Joseph; Thomas Long; Jessica Tilles;
Tu-Shonda L. Whittaker; and more including Dr. Avis Jones-Petlane, Professor, Montgomery College (panelist); and Dr. Monifa Love Asante, Associate Professor, Engliish & Language Arts, Morgan State University (moderator).
