Another panelist agreed saying that corporate America doesn't really take Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson that serious anymore because they are too self-serving and their influence has dwindled.

(Damn. You got something right Cynique and I haven't laid my healing hands on your fevered brow yet.

Al and Jessie could have never done this alone. Not only were the victims here some helpless kids who people could line up behind, but Imus had screwed over all kinds of people in the past and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
