Dahomeyahosi,

I agree with you to a point about honoring and maitaining one's culture. However, the world as it is currently constructed requires that we evolve to survive and prosper. We either change or we become a fading relic of some bygone past.

To me, the issue is more complex than you illustrate. Because I believe we all are struggling to define what of our ancestry we should and should not hold on to.

Because if we strictly held on to ALL of our customs and philosophies, it's very DOUBTFUL you would have an Asian husband.
