"The problem is the average black American has no idea about their own family history. Many people can't tell you about family members earlier than their grandparents. They think their roots started in slavery, when the race mixing in this country began. I suggest everyone trace their family tree. You might be surprised who some of your relatives were."

What do people benefit from knowing this? It won't change or effect the lives of most who have predominantly Black blood.
