Look. Nobody should be overtly harrassed for dating whom they choose to date. But I also think foks who date IR'ly, male and female, have got to get over themselves a bit.
So what if foks stare some.
The truth is this country history informs how foks behave. EVERYONE who seeks to change the course of that history are going to have take their blows just like everyone else did before them.
Eventually, perceptions and expectations and mores change, and, after awhile, it's no big deal at all whom one dates/mates.
BTW: You should ask Moonsigns whether BW will keep their opinions to themselves about her having a Black husband. I wager she'll have some interesting tales to tell.
Why, just the other day the White girlfriend of a younger relative of mine complained to my wife about all the harrassment she gets from BW. |
