Many times, without enough dynamic women in his circle---a man cannot rise.

It takes a certain narcissism and confidence and a pinch of "wantonness" for a woman to be dynamic fully within herself. Of course, "love" and "honesty" have to be in it.

Toni and Zora are those kind of women--and we need to replenish our daughters after slavery and colonialism has zapped them into Maid-minded follower drones.

This is why I bear my breasts---to signal to black women that it's time for us to wake up, to be liberated from all our "stations" and "roles". To bring into the world..our very own essence for a change.
