:-)

The man who took me from Africa as a small child--OWEN McAnnis of Unicef--was from Ireland, and so I'm being profiled soon in the magazine "Dubliner". The interviewer--Cara Murphy--really loved my autobiography and we're both surprised how well my memoir is doing in England (I used to live in Brixton).

Yvette would be so interested in this adoption story.

Look how much weight I lost:

Next week---I'm going to post the topless magazine cover we shot for Nigeria's literary magazine "FARAFINA". It's my first picture as a SIZE 6 in years! I'm really proud of this particular article, because #1---it's my first ever magazine COVER....and #2--Derrick Bell and Chinweizu were interviewed about me and there's a book review.

This Saturday I'm on a special edition of the FIRPO CARR show in Los Angeles:

"Firpo Carr Show"-- 2 pm to 3 pm....AirAmerica AM 1150.

And I'm still going to do the radio show in ATLANTA---but a new date has to be announced:

WRFG-FM Atlanta

"African Experience WorldWide" (Noon-3 pm)

I will be on starting at 1:15 pm

Date Pending
